Ryan graduated Summa Cum Laude in December 2025 with his Bachelor of Arts in Broadcasting and Journalism from Western Kentucky University. Ryan was a member and leader of multiple student media outlets at WKU. He was the Sports Director, Executive Producer, and Social Media Coordinator for The Extra Point, which he led to record viewership numbers across all digital platforms.

He is currently a broadcaster with Seven Mountains Media in Bowling Green, where he does Play by Play for KHSAA sporting events. Ryan also works as an Associate Producer/Production Assistant with WKU Public Media, producing live NCAA DI sport broadcasts on ESPN+ for WKU MBB/WBB, soccer, football, baseball, and softball. Ryan's experience with WKU Public Media also led him to co-produce and edit a feature length motorsports documentary.

Ryan is a four-time collegiate broadcast journalism award winner.
